The IQO Index Qualitatis Oleum certification mark is registered in over thirty EU and non-EU countries. Using the NVS algorithm , it issues certificates of nutritional and chemical suitability for batches of extra virgin olive oil (EVO) compliant with IQO standards. Through collaboration with the legal partner Bugnion SpA, a Regulation of Use has been filed which grants the use of the IQO brand to all EVO oils with at least 80/100 in the NVS algorithm score. This criterion not only ensures compliance with IQO 's chemical-nutritional parameters of excellence but also alignment with the EFSA directives for nutraceutical EVO oil, with the minimum presence of antagonistic molecules for excellent preservation.
